Wild in Denim

What's up this weekend... ilights festival lights up Marina Bay waterfront along with the STONES in town !! Ok ok, tickets are selling at a crazy high price so I am only part of the "Free-Concert" where they pumped up a waiting crowd with their rousing covers of rock anthems... With Parsabella around, you've got beer and wide choices of food along with the amazing music !! Great atmosphere in Marina Bay, thumbs up Singapore... I like this style <3

Now some foodporn time... After the "Free-concert", we try out a new place HY California by Hide Yamamoto, located on level 1 of Marina Bay Sands casino side. Completely impressed by their cod fish risotto !! No joke and this is not an advertisement, please GO TRY IT... This dish has just gone up to my top 5 dishes in Singapore!!

Servings here are small I have to say, even for me... Hey, but it's the quality that matters right..

To SPRING

Hello Readers,
Seems like a while since my last post, hope you guys are doing great ;) Let's try to forget about the shockingly sad news of missing MAS for a second. One of the worst nightmare ever happened in the sky. Am still praying hard though for everyone onboard the plane and all their family members, stay strong guys!! For those making false news everyday, you just can't get any stupider than that.

So I have ended my first 2 modules of the fashion studies on designing and textile printing last week. As promised, here are the submitted final assignments. Don't laugh ok, it's really my first attempt plus my drawing sucks...
Being an animal lover, what other themes than my favorite animal prints.

Now back to the missing MAS, I have been feeling heavy since I got to know about the news. It has been so many days, I really hope that we will find it soon. It must be the worst feeling ever for the family members. Stay strong and have hope !! Now it reminds me of a statement in the movie Tears of the Sun - "Dead or Alive, We will bring you Home" !!!

Weekend in Stripes (Obelix)

So what's happening this weekend!! 2 events in a roll... Pet Expo 2014 (the largest pet-ducational fair in Singapore) and Natas Travel Fair. It saves the trouble when both of them are in Expo this year, but it obviously did not save the jam.
My outfit this weekend, looking like Obelix(a fictional character from the French comic book series Asterix) according to him. Before my picture, here's a picture of Obelix. Haha

I know I know, I am a big fan of ASOS !! Wanted a bit of the mis-matched look by pairing both the skirt and flats together... What do you think of the look ?? I love how my lip color (True Coral from Tom Ford) goes along with my top ;) So who is better?? Obelix or me ? :p

Enough of my OOTD, biggest gathering of Golden Retrievers at the Pet Expo 2014 !! All the 102 lovely Goldies are officially in the Singapore Book of Records... How cool is that.. It's a pity that I went alone without Denver, how to bring him without a car !! For Denver he will always be the one and only Golden in MY book of records ;)

Oh... I saw the biggest rabbit I've ever seen in my life at the Pet expo... Am not sure whether you can tell from the picture but trust me, it's not any ordinary rabbit.. In fact, it looks creepy to me.

Love going to the pet expo each year, looking at all kinds of dogs... Knowing that there are still many dog lovers in Singapore is heart warming too.. Liberty Insurance has just started offering insurance for pets as well.. Check it out, the extra protection for your furkids...

Next on beauty, Have I shared my new found toy with you? Cutest brush ever, from Japan. I mean the most kawaii things have to come from there right.. haha. Koyudo, established in 1979, is a manufacturing company of brushes for calligraphy in Kumano, Hiroshima prefecture in Japan. Brushes have been manufactured in Kumano area since around 1830 during the Edo period. The brand started selling makeup brushes in 2005. Using the traditional technique especially in Kumano where the masterly techniques is gathered, the craftsmen produces them by hands while paying great attention to the details where machines can not match craftsmen's skills.
My first attempt of artistic photo.. Not too bad huh..

Couldn't resist buying this... Super cute.. Made of goat fur.. Oh and the first time I use the brush, it smells of goat cheese too... Don't worry, for those who doesn't like the goat smell, it is not going to last more than 2 times of usage.. Soft and gentle on the skin !
